Ham fried rice get a fun island twist with this recipe for Hawaiian ham fried rice. Now, it has all of what you would expect from a regular fried rice including egg, ham, rice, soy sauce, green onion, and sesame oil.
It’s a great way to use up leftover ham or rice if you have some in your fridge. I like to cook extra rice to keep in the freezer for recipes just like this. So, I usually cook a double batch whenever I cook rice. It makes dinner time a breeze if I can just reheat the rice instead of cooking it.

The island flair for this recipe comes with the addition pineapple tidbits along with some diced red pepper and onion. Also, this has in a little garlic powder in there. My family loved the added sweetness that you get from the pineapple in there. You get some nice sweetness along with the savory here. I love how colorful this dish looks too.
