As we enter the new year, as a foodie, it’s time to start planning what to make for the big game at the beginning of February.

This is something that the men in my house look forward to. They love the game and the food, for me I’m all about the food. I’ve teamed up with Avocados from Mexico and TABASCO® Sauce to come up with a delicious and simple ingredient- recipe along with some other food bloggers.

Avocados and guacamole go great with all!! Not only with chips. Add it to hotdogs, pizza, burritos, tacos, toast, sandwiches, and flautas. Your burgers won’t be the same with the addition of guacamole and TABASCO® Sauce. How about adding it to a salad, soup, or breakfast? Imagine some guac and TABASCO® Sauce over an egg, chorizo, and potato breakfast taco.

You can liven your game-weekend brunch with a spicy guacamole brunch sandwich with Avocados from Mexico and TABASCO® Sauce. Hey, you could even try guacamole and TABASCO® Sauce on your next grilled cheese sandwich for a life altering experience.

Avocados and guacamole go great with all!!

If you debate between pizza and tacos for the big game day, pick either and add some guacamole and Tabasco. Give your pork carnitas tacos a boost with creamy guacamole and a splash of TABASCO® Sauce.

I decided to take a simple guacamole and place it on top of toasted baguette slices to make an amazing guacamole bruschetta. The guacamole wouldn’t be complete without a few dashes of TABASCO® Sauce for extraordinary flavor. It will liven up any guacamole dish in more ways than one. Plus, TABASCO® Sauce ingredients are 100 % natural with vinegar, salt, and vine-ripened jalapeno peppers that have been roasted over a pecan wood fire.

Serve up this bruschetta with a bottle of versatile TABASCO® Sauce on the side for those who want to add even more spice to their bruschetta. I like to add a couple dashes to mine.

TABASCO® Sauce has been adding extra flavor to guacamole for 150 years and their ingredients are marinated in wood barrels for 3 years before the sauce is bottled. I also love that TABASCO® Sauce is made with 3 simple ingredients: tabasco peppers, a small amount of salt and high-quality vinegar.

Before the big game be sure to grab a bottle of TABASCO® Sauce from the store and use this money saving coupon. I’m hoping you’ll make this recipe for Guacamole Bruschetta! For more idea’s visit the Avocados From Mexico Pinterest Board.

Ingredients

  • 4 roma tomatoes diced
  • 2 ripe Avocados from Mexico diced
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil divided
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 5 dashes TABASCO® Sauce
  • 1 loaf baguette bread sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, avocado, 2 Tbsp olive oil, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt, pepper, and TABASCO® Sauce. Place the pit of one of the avocados in the bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. The pit will prevent to avocado from going brown.
  • Place slices of baguette bread on a baking sheet and brush both sides of each slice with oil using the remaining 2 Tbsp of olive oil.
  • Bake at 425 for 3 minutes. Remove and turn over each slice of bread. Bake for 3 more minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  • Place a spoonful of the guacamole on top of each slice of bread and serve. Makes about 25 servings.
