Well, the other day I was wanted to come up with a treat for someone that I was taking a meal to. Their daughter had been in the hospital and I was hoping to help brighten their day. I reached for a box on Pillsbury brownie mix from my pantry to start with and decided to#MixUpAMoment.

I had the idea to made bright and colorful flowers to top the brownies with. So instead of the usual chocolate frosting I use on brownies, I grabbed container of Pillsbury vanilla frosting. I thought it would be the perfect background to showcase the bright flowers I wanted to place on top of the brownies.

Then to make the flowers, I just used some jelly beans. I used some of them just as is and others I cut in half. This helped give each flower a little character and they didn’t all look exactly the same. Then to serve them, I flattened out a green colored cupcake liner and set each of the brownies on top.

These Easy Spring Brownies turned out beautiful and bright. I know the brightened the day of the family I was taking them to. I also thought they would be perfect to serve at a bridal or baby shower or even for dessert for Mother’s Day.
