Today is the last of the dip recipes and this one is a fun twist in your standard regular ranch vegetable dip. This dip has an added ingredient that may surprise you – cottage cheese. It’s a cottage cheese veggie dip.
The cottage cheese is an ingredient that not only adds texture to the dip but is also gives it protein! Cottage cheese is actually a really good source of protein. You will just need 3 ingredients for this dip. You need cottage cheese, sour cream, and dry ranch dip mix. When I make this I like to use the lowest fat version possible for the sour cream and cottage cheese. However, I don’t like to use the fat free versions. The texture tends to be too runny with these.
We love to serve this veggie dip with vegetables but is also works great with crackers or chips. After vegetables, my family probably loves it most with Ritz or Town House crackers. It’s also pretty tasty with Lay’s regular potato chips. I like it with those thin, crispy chips.
