Love hot cider? Love hot chocolate? Well, how about the two together? It may sound strange but it works. It’s the best of both worlds. This Cider Hot Chocolate is made using white chocolate.
This combination is refreshing and combines to two great drinks into one. Now, I don’t add any additional sweetener to this. I think the white chocolate is enough sweetener for this drink. However, if you want it a bit sweeter, feel free to add in some sugar. You could use brown or white sugar. I would recommend brown sugar to give it that added sweetness and depth of molasses.
This takes apple cider and adds in the spices of cinnamon and allspice. Then you have some white chocolate combined with some whipping cream and vanilla. It’s the perfect balance of creamy white chocolate combined with a spicy apple cider.
I do like to finish off a cup of this with some sweetened whipped cream. It’s a nice change from the usual hot drinks to enjoy on a cold winter day.
