Vanishing Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

butter
softened

brown sugar

sugar

vanilla

flour

baking soda

tsp
ground cinnamon

tsp
salt

quick oats
1 ½

chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl, beat butter and both sugars together until creamy.
Add in eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Then add in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
Fold in the oats and chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Makes 4 dozen.
Notes
For high altitude - use 1 3/4 cups flour.
For bar cookies, press into a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
