Instructions
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until softened.
Add in the ham and cook for 1 minute. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the pasta, chicken stock, half & half and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
Cover and bring to a boil. Then reduce to a simmer and stir occasionally. Cook covered for 10-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
Add the cheese and mix in until melted. Serves 4.
