Skillet Green Beans and Bacon

Ingredients

lb
Wright Brand Bacon
chopped
1
small onion
diced
3
cloves
garlic
minced
1
pound
fresh green beans
washed and trimmed (I use French green beans)
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Add bacon to a large skillet and cook over medium heat until it is cooked, but not crispy.
Mix in the onion and garlic and continue cooking until the bacon is crispy. Transfer the bacon mixture to plate and set aside.
Place the green beans in the skillet, along with a tablespoon of the remaining bacon grease, drain off any excess.
Sauté the beans until tender, about 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Add the bacon mixture back to the pan and mix evenly with the beans. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
