2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup butter melted
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup apples peeled and diced (I used gala)

For the maple glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
1-2 Tbsp milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon together.
In a large bowl, combine the butter and brown sugar together. Beat eggs in one at a time. Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, just until combined. Fold in the apples.
Add the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the blondies to cool slightly.

Maple Glaze

Using a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk together until it's a glaze consistency.
Once the blondies have cooled slightly, pour the glaze on top and spread it out evenly. Allow the glaze to set before slicing.
