Leaving the dinner rolls intact, slice them open so that you have one solid top and bottom. Place the bottom half on a pan or in a 9×13 inch baking dish .
Line the bottom half of the rolls with the mozzarella cheese followed by the roast beef. Return the top part of the rolls.
Use a sharp knife to cut into individual rolls. You are just cutting it so after baking they are easy to serve.
Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley together. Brush evenly over top of rolls.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the au jus according to package directions.
Uncover and bake for 2 more minutes. Serves 12 as an appetizer or 4 as a main dish.
