Equipment

Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ cup heavy whipping cream
8 oz pkg cream cheese at room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Melt Chocolate Chips:

Microwave chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute. Stir well.
Microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Continue in 15-second increments if needed. Set aside to cool.

Whip Cream:

Pour heavy cream into a large bowl. Use an electric mixer to whip until soft peaks form. Set aside.

Mix Cream Cheese and Chocolate:

In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Blend in vanilla and cooled melted chocolate. Beat at high speed until light and fluffy.
Gently but thoroughly fold in whipped cream until no streaks remain. Cover and chill Chocolate Fruit Dip until ready to serve. This does thicken after refrigeration so you will want to bring it out of the fridge a little before serving.
