This Homemade Lasagna Hamburger Helper is a flavorful and comforting one-skillet meal that takes the classic boxed version to the next level. With tender mafalda pasta, seasoned ground beef, marinara sauce, and gooey melted mozzarella, every bite is rich and satisfying. Easy to make and perfect for busy nights.
8ozbow tie pastauncooked (or other pasta like mafalda)
2 ½cupsbeef broth
½cupmilk
1cupmozzarella cheeseshredded
Instructions
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Add in the dried minced onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir until evenly distributed.
Next, add in the marinara sauce, uncooked mafalda pasta, beef broth, and milk. Stir to combine and loosen any brown bits off of the bottom of the pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to low. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked (most of the liquid should be absorbed).
Sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella cheese and allow the dish to cook for another minute or two or until the cheese is fully melted.
