All next week will be Valentine’s week here at RMK. I have a great line up of 5 new recipes to help celebrate with the ones you love. But to start off the week, I thought it would be fun to do a Valentine’s Fab Five of previous Valentine recipes from my archives.
One quick note – I will be at the Sandy, UT Barnes & Noble today from 1-4pm with 40 other great authors – come say hi if you are in the area.
First up in this Valentine’s Fab Five is red velvet cupcakes. It begins with a cake mix that gets the added bonus of pudding mix and then is topped of with the most divine frosting! This post also has a good round up of some other decadent treats that are perfect for Valentine’s Day!
This next one is great if you want a special treat but are short on time. Twinkies are cut to form heart shapes and then get topped with a quick and simple raspberry sauce. This post also has some additional ideas too.
Here is another cupcake one for ya. This cupcake has a strawberry surprise inside and gets a fun frosting on top. The frosting gets it’s flavor and color from Laffy Taffy candy!
Another quick and simple dessert is chocolate fondue. It only takes 2 ingredients to make there are so many yummy things that you can dip.
Last is molten lava cakes. These are served at many fancy restaurants but you can make your own at home and they aren’t that hard to do.
