Stitch Fix #12

Ok, I am now finally caught up on my Stitch Fix #12 shipments. This is the one I received in June! This one was pretty successful. I liked 4 of the 5 items, but didn’t keep them all!

First is this LYDIA FACETED STONES LONG NECKLACE for $38.00.

I found the price a little high, but decided to keep since I loved it. It was the right length for a longer necklace and was simple enough to go with just about anything. It is a classic like those diamond stud earrings. I kept this one.

Second was this bright orange RYE CONTRAST TRIM SHORT SLEEVE BLOUSE for  $64.00.

Looking at it in the box I was unsure of this, but I loved it once it was on. I would definitely not have pick this color when shopping in the store so this is definitely helping me go outside the box. I also loved the necklace with it. It was a keeper.

Next was a pair of KATE DISTRESSED BOYFRIEND JEAN for $78.00.

I am not one to wear jeans with holes in them, but tried them on. I just couldn’t do the holes. It just wasn’t my style.  Otherwise, loved the fit and would have kept them if they weren’t so distressed. So they went back.

This item was on that was a definite no. I pretty much knew it before I even tried it on. This SPENSUR STRIPED JERSEY DRESS for $54.00 just looked bad on me.

The stripes on this dress were not flattering on me at all. May have been ok if it was a solid rather than a print.

Last was a CATHLEEN SPLIT-NECK TULIP-SLEEVE BLOUSE for $68.00.

I got this in my last shipment but it was too small, so I requested to have it sent in my next fix in the next size up if possible. This fit much better than the size sent in my previous fix, but loved the orange shirt even more than this one so that’s why I didn’t keep it. I couldn’t afford to do both.
