Today’s St. Patty’s fab five green recipes is a round up from my archives of all things green to help celebrate with.
How about a homemade version of the popular Shamrock Shake?
This is a a copy cat recipe for McDonald’s Shamrock shake. There isn’t much to a shake recipe. So it isn’t hard to figure out, but getting just the right amounts to make the right shake consistency is key.

Celebrate St Patty’s and Girl Scout cookie time with these thin mint cupcakes.
Now, you make these cupcakes from scratch. Don’t let that scare you away. It’s a Martha Stewart recipe and it’s all made in one bowl. The frosting for these is good old buttercream recipe. Finish with 1/4 of a thin min cookie on top.

Lucky Green Velvet Cupcakes are always a good choice too.
You make them by doctoring up a cake mix and adding in some green food coloring. The frosting has a two tone look. I just filled my decorating bag with green frosting on one side and white on the other. Then don’t forget that green sugar to sprinkle on top.

Or how about these delicious Pistachio Cupcakes?
There is instant pistachio pudding and club soda in the cupcakes. Then you make the frosting from whipped cream and instant pistachio pudding mix. Oh, and the frosting is nice and creamy with the light flavor of pistachio pudding. Â They are HEAVENLY I tell you, just HEAVENLY!

Last, if you want to go with a healthy option, try this green fruit salad.
This is a combination that included green grapes, Granny Smith apples, and kiwis for this salad. I recommended serving it with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream or a spoonful of my Shockingly Simple Fruit Dip. I hope that one of these St. Patty’s Fab Five green recipes with make your St. Patrick’s day special.
