Recipes for Christmas Morning
- Kneader’s Chunky French Toast – This is a copycat recipe from a restaurant/bakery that started in Utah. If you are lucky enough to have one near you, then it is best to buy the chunky cinnamon bread from there to make it. If not, any cinnamon bread, sliced thick, from your local bakery would suffice.
- Overnight Sourdough Waffles – The overnight process is what makes these waffles sourdough. I have many syrup and sauces to top these with, so check out my archives.
- Creme Brulee French Toast – This overnight version has slices of French toast with a sweet, sugary brulee layer on top.
- Overnight Blueberry French Toast with Blueberry Syrup – This French toast casserole has pockets of cream cheese and blueberries. A coating of blueberry syrup is the finishing touch. This is similar to a bread pudding.
- Streusel Topped French Toast Bake – The brown sugar streusel topping makes this French toast bake extra special. I love it topped with strawberry slices and a drizzle of maple syrup to serve. Think French toast with a coffee cake topping.
- Overnight French Toast Bake with Berry Topping – This is a basic French toast casserole that is topped with a luscious berry topping.
- Overnight Slow Cooker Oatmeal – This is a hearty hot breakfast dish you can serve with an array of toppings.

Bread
- Overnight Cinnamon Rolls – Make the tender dough for these cinnamon buns the night before. Just assemble in the morning, rise for 30 minutes, and bake.
- Overnight Pull A Parts – These are our morning tradition for Christmas. It’s similar to monkey bread. This version is orange with cranberries. I have other flavor combinations on the site, too.
- German Scones with Cinnamon Honey Butter – The dough for these raised Utah-style scones is made the night before. Just roll out and fry in the morning.
Casseroles
- The Best Overnight Hashbrown Casserole – Pepper jack cheese is the secret ingredient to this tasty breakfast casserole.
- Breakfast Casserole – Prep this the day before. This breakfast strata-type casserole uses bread, eggs, sausage, and cheddar cheese!
- Overnight Hashbrown Casserole – This casserole includes bacon and O’Brien potatoes.
- Baked Oven Omelet – This recipe comes from my mom and is a family favorite.
