I am a Brand Ambassador for Bush Beans. Recently had the opportunity to go to Charlotte, NC with them and the other Brand Ambassadors for a unique experience involving NASCAR and Bush Bean’s New Hummus.

When we first arrived we enjoyed a dinner at Chima Brazilian Steak House. It was amazing! Gauchos roamed the room continuously offering churrasco of over 15 rotisserie meats including top sirloin, filet, ribs, lamb, pork, chicken, sausage, and fish.

We also were able to enjoy Chima’s salad bar with blends of Brazilian and American favorites from salads, cold cuts, cheeses, soup, and traditional Brazilian hot dishes. My favorite items that night were the rotisserie meat, grilled pineapple and Pao de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Rolls). I would highly recommend eating there if you ever visit Charlotte! I am also addicted to those cheese rolls.

The next day we got to go on an exclusive tour of the JTG NASCAR Shop. This is the company that houses AJ Allmendinger and the JTG Daugherty Racing team who race the Bush Bean’s race car. It was a jaw dropping experience to see the shop and learn how much work really goes into a NASCAR team.

Then, we had some fun at the shop with Bush’s new Hummus Made Easy product. I think this is one of the few times someone made hummus at a NASCAR shop! Chef Jeffery Saad introduced us to the new product and shared how you can up the flavor of the hummus even more by adding in your own ingredients and make your own custom hummus.

He made a Cinnamon Spice Honey recipe using Bush’s Classic Hummus. He even gave us the recipe to share with all of you. I have included it at the bottom of this post. I never thought of hummus as being sweet before! It was delish!

Then, we broke up into small groups and were able to play with the new product and customize our own flavor. My group used the Southwest Black Bean flavor and went for heat, but then we added in some sweet! It was spicy and tasty. I absolutely love the product and that I can tell what all the ingredients are in the package. It is so easy to make. There is no reason you shouldn’t make your own hummus. It tastes so fresh!

Then, I was able to have the experience of a lifetime. We went over to the Charlotte Motor Speedway. I felt like I had stepped into the movie CARS. It was crazy. I had the opportunity to choose to drive a NASCAR car or ride along in one. It scared me to death to be the actual driver but I was all up for a ride-a-long with a trained driver. With the ride along you would definitely get to go fast (around 160 MPH).

I got to ride along in the NASCAR Bush’s Hummus Made Easy car! Can I just tell you it was amazing! I definitely felt the need, the need for speed! We also got to meet the driver of the car AJ Allmendinger. Man is he a character! But, also an amazingly nice guy.

I highly recommend you all give the new Hummus Made Easy product from Bush’s a try. I think you’ll be hooked! It comes in 3 tasty flavors – Classic, Roasted Red Pepper, and Southwest Black Bean. I made the southwest black bean for my family and told them it was “bean dip” because they aren’t fans of hummus and guess what? They all loved it and gobbled it up!
