I recently went to my local Kroger store (Smith’s) and checked out the Martha White ® baking mixes. I was challenged by The J.M. Smucker Company to make a recipe using one of them.
I was able to find them right on the baking isle, in a variety of flavors. I had a great idea to making using their pumpkin muffin mix, but I was unable to find it in the store. I’m thinking it wasn’t quite out yet when I went shopping.
As I was looking at the possibilities that were there, all of the sudden I had a great idea. I decided to get a few packages of the chocolate chip muffin mix and put a southern twist on this mix. You will have to wait an see what I came up with, but I will tell you it involves the Southern classic red velvet cake! This recipe will be fun to have to make during the holiday season all the way into Valentines Day!
It will be perfect to serve up for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert! Watch out, I will be sharing the recipe with you all very soon!
