Today’s recipe is another one that I learned as a young girl from the summer cooking series in my local paper. It is one of my favorites and I have used it many times since I first learned it. I have altered it slightly from the original recipe. The original included raw egg and more sugar.
This recipe is quick. It is easy. It is tasty. It can work for breakfast or a snack. It is an especially great way to cool down on a hot summer afternoon.Print
- 1/2 of a 12 oz container of frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 10–12 ice cubes
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend for 1-2 minutes until nice and smooth.
