Today’s recipe is another one that I learned as a young girl from the summer cooking series in my local paper. It is one of my favorites. I have used this Blender Breakfast {aka Orange Julius} many times since I first learned it. I have altered it slightly from the original recipe. The original included raw egg and more sugar.
This recipe is quick. It is easy. It is tasty. Also, it can work for breakfast or a snack. It is an especially great way to cool down on a hot summer afternoon. I don’t know if you’ve ever enjoyed an authentic Orange Julius drink from a mall location. They were pretty popular when I was in high school.

Now, I often purchased these when I was a teenager working in my local mall. I would frequently get cancer sores. I couldn’t eat when I got them. So, I would sip one of those Orange Julius drinks through a straw. The home version is super simple to make.
Place some frozen orange juice concentrate into blender with some milk, water, sugar, vanilla, and ice. Blend for a minute or two until it’s all blended together.
