Fab Five from EVO

by Laura

Today’s fab five includes all new things I discovered while at the EVO Conference, which I will post about soon.

First is McDonald’s new mango pineapple smoothie.  I have tried their other strawberry banana and wild berry smoothies before and wasn’t impressed.  However, I love this new flavor.  It is delish!

I also learned about a site called togethercounts.com.  Together Counts is a nationwide program inspiring active and healthy living. The principle behind their program is Energy Balance, which means balancing the calories we consume with the calories we burn. Calories in, calories out.  They also encourage to eat as a family and be active as a family.  Love that!

I also discovered Nature’s Path.  I loved the taste of their products, especially the pumpkin flaxplus granola.

I also love the new Pepperidge Farm goldfish sandwich bread. I tried the white and I believe the honey wheat.  They are just like the sandwich thins I like and have talked about before.  These are fun for your kids though.  Too bad they don’t sell them here in Utah yet!

Last is Candle Warmers.  I have seen other products like this before and I have wanted one for a while.  Little did I know this company was here in Utah.  I love the look of there warmers.

I’ve recently moved to Kentucky from Utah, I don’t know if it helps at all, but the only store around here that sells the Goldfish bread is Kroger. Since usually the items are similar in chain stores, try looking for the bread at Kroger or Smith’s.

I was SO excited when I saw the goldfish bread. My kids are addicted to the crackers (I think they need a 12 step program! ;)). So bummed they don’t sell them in Utah yet. I guess I will have to be on the look out for them. Hopefully they will be here soon.

I love the Nature’s Path Pumpkin Flax plus granola! It’s really good over vanilla greek yogurt. Top both with blueberries. Yum.

I have a candle warmer thing…not sure what brand it is but I LOVE it!! There is a whole Better Homes and Garden line of scents at WalMart. I also like to pick them up at Yankee Candle.
