Easy Hot Turkey Sandwiches

My family loves Thanksgiving dinner. It is one of their favorite meals, but it’s not that often that I am willing to make it.

It is a special dinner and want to keep it that way. Plus, it is a lot of work for me. So that is why it tends to be more of a special occasion meal. However, I found a great recipe to make for my family where that can enjoy those Thanksgiving flavors and I don’t have to do too much work.

These easy hot turkey sandwiches are made with a simple from scratch gravy and served with sliced deli turkey over bread. I served it along with mashed potatoes and a veggie. No one in my family likes cranberries, but I did add some canned cranberries to my serving.

The family was happy to get those Thanksgiving flavors for dinner and I was happy it was easy to make. This would also be perfect to have after Thanksgiving if you don’t have any leftovers! I’m not hosting this year so I will probably be serving it up again to my family after Thanksgiving next month.

I do usually add browning sauce to my gravy, but when I made this, I discovered I was completely out of it.  It was still great with out it. However, I did make it another time after that with the browning sauce added in and it was perfect. It was just what my family was looking for.
