Caramel Apple Dip and Musselman’s Giveaway {Closed}

Nothing says “Big Game Sunday” like a tableful of game day favorites. Musselman’s has been playing around with some football party snacks using their apple butter. You should give some of them a try or whip up a recipe of your own, like this Caramel Apple Dip, using Musselman’s Apple Butter.

I recently tried their Caramel Apple Dip.  It was quick and easy – only 2 ingredients needed. I served it up with apple slices, but it would be great with other fruit or even graham crackers.  Eating the fresh apple slices along with the dip tasted like I was eating a carmel apple pie! It would also work well to heat up and serve over ice cream.

You can head on over to Musselman’s for even more recipes using apple butter such as Grilled Cheese Sliders, Sweet and Spicy Wing Sauce, or Apple Butter Mustard Dip. If you haven’t purchased apple butter before you can find it on the jam/jelly isle of your local grocery store.

Musselman’s has also provided a giveaway for a lucky RMK reader. The gift pack includes a jar of apple butter, recipe cards and a matching mutli-purpose bowl. Just leave a comment on this post telling me what you would use a jar of apple butter for.  You have until Saturday Feb 2 at midnight (MST) to enter. The winner will be announced at the bottom of this post following the entry deadline.

  12. I would use a jar of apple butter as a dip for something. I’d grate a little cinnamon on top. If I was feeling healthy and fierce, I’d dip in carrots. However, my sweet tooth is insisting I mention I’d also like to spread it on cinnamon buns, carrot cake, sugar cookies…… sigh.

  13. I think I am going to try the sweet and spicy wings. I never thought about using apple butter into the mix. We use apple butter daily on our toast just never thought about using it in recipes.

  14. Having never tried Apple Butter, I’d probably try the Caramel Apple Dip you just shared – my boys would LOVE that!
