Now we’re moving on to the Best Breakfasts of 2025, and this year’s lineup is truly something special. Each recipe is a delicious way to start your morning, whether you’re easing into a slow weekend, feeding a hungry family, or planning a festive New Year’s Day brunch. And in our house, breakfast isn’t just for mornings—we love breakfast‑for‑dinner, too. In fact, three of these recipes made repeat appearances on our dinner table throughout the year because they’re just that good.
Breakfast has always been one of my favorite ways to bring everyone together, and these recipes really highlight why. They’re simple, comforting, and made with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. Whether you’re craving something sweet, something savory, or something you can prep ahead for busy mornings, this year’s lineup has a little bit of everything to make your mornings (or evenings!) feel extra special.

#1
First up is my Basic Pancake Recipe, which has officially replaced the boxed mix in my pantry. It takes only a few extra minutes to whisk together, but the payoff is huge—fluffy, tender pancakes made with simple ingredients I always have on hand. It’s budget‑friendly, reliable, and the kind of recipe you’ll find yourself making again and again.

#2
Second is the Crustless Cottage Cheese Quiche, a lighter take on a classic breakfast dish. Skipping the crust keeps the calories down, while the cottage cheese adds a boost of protein that makes each slice extra satisfying. It’s versatile enough for breakfast, brunch, or even a quick dinner, and it reheats beautifully.

#3
Next is a new family favorite: Apple Crumble Muffins. The muffins themselves are soft and flavorful, but it’s the buttery crumble topping that takes them over the top. We especially love them in the fall when apple season is in full swing, but honestly, they’re delicious any time of year. They make the kitchen smell amazing, too.

#4
Last but definitely not least are the Sheet Pan Breakfast Egg Sandwiches. These are a meal‑prep dream. You simply bake the egg mixture in a sheet pan, cut it into squares, and tuck them into English muffins for easy grab‑and‑go breakfasts. They freeze wonderfully, making them perfect for busy mornings. You can even cut the eggs into rectangles and use them for breakfast burritos—one recipe, endless possibilities.
