BBQ Pulled Pork Subs

BBQ pork is a classic sandwich, but there are so many tasty ways to make it including these BBQ Pulled Pork Subs!

I love to make them especially for a crowd because it is usually so simple to make. I always make mine in the crock pot. It really couldn’t be easier. This delicious variation includes ginger and honey!

BBQ Pulled Pork Subs


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 boneless pork roast (21/2 pounds)
  • 1 (18 oz) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 8 submarine buns, split

Instructions

  1. Place onion and roast in the bottom of a 5-qt. slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, honey, garlic, seasoned salt and ginger. Pour mixture over meat.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until meat is tender.
  4. Remove meat from crock pot and shred return to the slow cooker. Serve on sub rolls. Serves 8-16.
