With this last week being apple week, I am giving you an extra bonus post of my favorite apple recipe from my archives in an apple recipe round up.  I hope you enjoy the beginning of fall with some yummy apple dishes!

Cran-Apple Granola Pizza with Vanilla Drizzle – This is my adaption of the Apple Granola Pizza from the Bake for the Cure Cookbook. I decided to add cranberries into the recipe to make it a cran-apple granola pizza.  Cranberries pair so well with apples.

Apple Frittars – I had been dying to try to make apple fritters for years and made sure to include it one year in my apple week. This recipe comes together quickly by using baking mix.

Fluffy Apple Dip – I liked the idea of a dip for apples that wasn’t caramel.  This is so yummy and creamy.

Caramelized Apple Waffle Pastries –  This dessert would be excellent anytime, but would also be a great dessert for Thanksgiving that you could serve in place of apple pie.

Apple Pizzas – The apple is the base or crust of the apple pizzas with peanut butter serving as the sauce.  I love apples with peanut butter.  Now you can use chunky or creamy peanut butter – your preference.  I used chunky.  Then you get your toppings. This is where the fun comes in.

Apple Nachos –  It’s a twist on nachos using apples instead of tortilla chips.  The twist doesn’t stop there.  Then those apples get covered in caramel, marshmallows, nuts and mini chocolate chips.

Honey Vanilla Caramel Apples – This recipe uses honey instead of sugar and corn syrup.  I was curious how this 4 ingredient recipe would turn out.  The results were fabulous.

Caramel Peanut Butter Apple Dip – This recipe actually combines the caramel and peanut butter into one fabulous dip for apples.  It would also be excellent with bananas too.

Cinnamon Apple Pancakes with Apple Cider Syrup –  This pancake recipe today gives you a nice burst of cinnamon spice with the juicy crispness of little bits of apple.
