I just returned late last night from an incredible trip to Philly and Camden, NJ. I’m excited to announce that I am the Ultimate Swanson Football Champion 2011! It was an exhilarating experience, and I can’t wait to share all the details with you. After a long journey, I arrived home exhausted and needed to catch up on life here.
I’ll be sharing more about my adventure soon, but in the meantime, for those of you who are local, don’t forget to tune in to KUTV morning news on Monday, January 24. The contest challenged us to create a delicious Super Bowl recipe, and I aimed for something quick and easy. Swanson Premium Chunk Chicken was my go-to ingredient. It helped me create my winning recipe for quick chicken enchilada nachos!
The event took place on January 19 in the Campbell’s Kitchen. I had the pleasure of competing alongside two other talented finalists. Deborah from Taste and Tell, who also lives in Utah, and I have crossed paths before. We have both attended events like Baking with Betty and the Harmon’s Back of the Store Tour. Her entry, Chicken, Bacon, and Cream Cheese Mini Taquitos, was fantastic. The other finalist, Cathy from Hazzard in the Kitchen, impressed everyone with her End Zone Empanadas. It was wonderful to meet her and share this exciting experience.
