- 10 to 12 jalapenos, cut into rings and amount of seeds remove as desired for the amount of heat you want
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp celery seeds
- In a sauce pan, add all of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Be sure to stand back from the sauce pan, the fumes from the boiling jalapenos can burn you nose and eyes.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Allow to cool and pour into a glass jar with a lid. Place in the fridge and store for up to 2 weeks.
