This week’s fab five is all about school lunches. Now that the kiddos are all heading back to school, I hope you find some ideas in this School Lunch Fab Five collection to make lunch fun.
My good friend Tina from Mommy’s Kitchen did a great post on packing school lunches, She also has some great money saving ideas.
Check out this magnetic lunch chart from Martha Stewart. Unfortunately, the link to this no longer works, but you can use the photo for inspiration.
I love this fun twist on a sandwich from Parents Magazine, sandwiches on a stick. No bread is needed here because all the ingredients are on the stick. Be sure to serve it with your favorite condiment on the side.
Kraft Foods also has a whole section on their site with recipes for school lunches including these pinwheel bites. It also has many other helps including printable jokes to tuck in the little ones lunches.
You can find this lovely lunch box planner from A Little Delightful. This will make life easier. The link there is no longer available but I found something similar over at 30 Days Handmade. I hope you have loved this School Lunch Fab Five!

Thank you for sharing this! My oldest starts school next year and I’m trying to get myself as prepared as possible. I will be packing his lunch just because I think it’ll be cheaper and more delicious.
Oh, and I think I shared 3 or 4 recipes from your blog this week on my weekly roundup! So thank you for sharing such awesome recipes, as always 🙂
