- 1 cup Florida orange juice
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 ounces good quality white chocolate, finely chopped
Instructions
- n small heavy bottomed saucepot, bring orange juice to a simmer; cook and reduce for 5 minutes. Stir in almond milk and bring to a low simmer; cook for another 4 minutes. Remove from heat; immediately whisk in vanilla and chocolate until chocolate is completely melted, returning to a very low heat to assist if necessary. Pour into mugs; serve immediately. Make 2 servings.
Notes
If you love cinnamon or nutmeg, add a pinch. Add 1/8 teaspoon pure orange oil for a stronger citrus flavor. For a less sweet version, use 3 ounces of chocolate.
