Slow Cooker Mexican Hot Chocolate

  • 2/3 cup hot water
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 (7 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 stick cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk hot water and cocoa together. Add the mixture to a slow cooker along with the condensed milk, milk, and ground cinnamon. Whisk together until blended.
  2. Add in the chopped chocolate and cinnamon stick. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, giving it a stir every 30 minutes to help dissolve the chocolate. Makes 8 servings.
