Healthy Big Mac Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 95% lean ground beef
  • 1/4 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp dill relish
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 4 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Pickle slices

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, add the ground beef, onion, garlic salt, salt and pepper to a pan. Cook the beef until brown. Drain off any grease.
  2. In a bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder and white vinegar. 
  3. Assemble each salad by using 1 cup of chopped lettuce then top with 1/4 of the ground beef mixture, 1 Tbsp of the shredded cheese, 4 pickle slices, and drizzle with 2 Tbsp of the dressing.
