Chicken Cordon Bleu Panini

  • 4 oz cream cheeselight or regular, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 8 thick slices French bread 
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 812 thinly sliced deli chicken or equal amount of rotisserie chicken
  • 8-12 thinly sliced deli ham
  • butter
  • garlic/herb seasoning


  1. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, Dijon mustard and mayo together until smooth.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of the bread. Then top with a slice of Swiss cheese, cooked chicken, a couple slices of deli ham, and a final slice of Swiss cheese. Top with the other slice of bread.
  3. On the outside of the sandwiches, spread with butter and sprinkle with garlic/herb seasoning.
  4. Cook the sandwich on a preheated panini press or on a hot griddle or skillet on the stove until golden and the cheese is melted.  Serve warm. Makes 4 sandwiches.
