Buttery Cream Syrup


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • dash salt

Instructions

  1. In a large sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Then add the sugar and evaporated ilk to the pan. Stir and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil for 3 minutes, while stirring.
  4. Remove from the heat and mix in the vanilla and salt. Allow to cool slightly before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
