For the sauce:
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp dill relish
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp white vinegar
For the hot dogs:
- 8 all beef hot dogs
- 8 hot dog buns, toasted
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 8 slices American cheese, sliced in half
- 1 cup dill pickle slices
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder and white vinegar to make the sauce. Set aside.
- Cook hot dogs as desired. I cooked mine on the grill.
- To make the hot dogs, place some of the shredded lettuce on a toasted bun. Top with 2 of the halves of cheese followed but the cooked hot dog. Place a few pickle slices on each side of the hot dog and drizzle with some of the sauce. Makes 8 servings.
