BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

  • Author: Laura
  • Total Time: 8 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 12-14 sliders 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • barbecue sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray’s)
  • 1214 slider buns
  • For the garlic aioli:
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 pinches of black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp chopped chives

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Rub the pork roast with the spice mixture. Place roast in the slow cook and drizzle about 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce over the roast.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4-5 hours).
  3. Once cooked, shred roast and discard any fatty parts. Add in 1 cup or so of the barbecue sauce and mix. Add more sauce if needed to make the desired consistency.
  4. To make the aioli, add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix.
  5. Toast the slider buns in the oven at 375 for a few minutes until crispy.
  6. Assemble sliders by adding the pork on the bun and topping with a dollop of aioli.  Makes 12-14 sliders.
