Arm & Hammer Review and Giveaway

by Laura

Did you brush your teeth?! This is a question that I ask daily. As a mom, I am always asking my kiddos if they have brushed their teeth. Not only does it make for a beautiful mouth, but I always feel better after I have brushed my teeth!

I recently tested ARM & HAMMER™ Sensitive toothpaste along with their Spinbrush™ ProClean™ SONIC toothbrush to clean my own pearly whites.

sonic

The toothbrush uses advanced Sonic Technology to clean those hard-to-reach places between your teeth which is where up to 6 times more plaque can live. There were two things I loved about this brush:

  • The replacement heads
  • It has color wear bristles so you know when to get a new head
  • It made my teeth feel clean

The main down side to the brush for me was the size of the brush head. It was a bit larger than I am use to and was a little awkward to use. After a few uses though, it was much easier.

toothpaste

I also tried the ARM & HAMMER™ Sensitive toothpaste, from the makers of Orajel™, provides maximum pain relief (from cold, heat, acid, and sweets)in a low abrasion formula that is gentler on enamel.

Plus, at a fraction of the cost of a leading sensitive toothpaste brand, ARM & HAMMER™ Sensitive Toothpaste is the secret to eating without fear. The Whitening variant includes Baking Soda to gently remove plaque and surface stains without causing sensitivity.

I must admit I do like my toothpaste to have a strong “mint” flavor to it. This one only had a slight mint flavor to it. I would have liked it to be stronger. I love the idea of the baking soda in the toothpaste to help with whitening. However, it is something that I could taste in the paste. If you don’t mind the taste of the baking soda, it probably wouldn’t bother you. I do think my teeth appeared whiter after several uses with this paste.

I cannot weigh in on the sensitivity issue with my teeth because I really don’t have one. All in all I would be more like to purchase the brush over the toothpaste.
